Boasting over thirty years of experience in telecommunications and electronics, Colin’s career highlights include leading GPT to profitable sales in Europe and Hong Kong within three years through innovative CT2 radio technology. He was instrumental in deploying the UK’s first 3G mobile network with 3 UK in 2003.
Colin’s leadership roles span CTO and COO at Orange for International Operations and founding CEO of 3, the UK’s first 3G mobile operator. He oversaw significant investments and strategic initiatives as Deputy Chairman of Hutchison 3G in Europe.
In the past decade, Colin has served as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman in various tech and communication companies, offering strategic guidance and opening new business opportunities. He is also an active angel investor and mentor, supporting startups across diverse industries, from local search software to specialist bicycle production.
